The Project seeks to become operational by the summer of 2010. By this time the Project shall have built a comprehensive list of groups and organizations of which it can acquire information. It shall assertively and regularly contact these organizations and distribute acquired information though the appropriate media including:
The Project's LPFM broadcast radio station,
The Project's live streaming and interactive website,
Other cooperating and partnered media outlets,
Local origination cable television,
School, business, social, and church networks, and
Any other means that can be developed.
Although the FCC has not announced the date for the application for the LPFM construction permit, the Project expects to have developed sufficient information, technical data, supporting endorsements and commitments, to successfully submit documents as necessary by spring of 2010. Provided an application opportunity presents itself by summer of 2010; it is not unreasonable to expect approval by winter of 2010. Should that be the case, the Project could anticipate initiating LPFM station broadcasting by the Spring of 2011, contingent of course, on sufficient funding and underwriting. Given a best guess scenario; the Project should be fully operational and underwritten by the spring of 2012. In this time frame the Project would have identified opportunities to expand and improve services. If a permanent home has not been acquired, one should be sought. Improvements to equipment and facilities to allow for higher quality and more appealing production and presentation need to be addressed. It is believed that a successful Project could then support a part-time compensated Program/Station Manager, who would take over day-to-day operations from the Project Founders and successfully perpetuate the Projects services.
